SAP APO & IBP Consultant – Job Description

• 5–7 years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant in Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong domain knowledge in Material Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP Planning.
• Experience in wholesale distribution environments is preferred.
  
  

SAP APO Skills

• Hands-on expertise and customization experience in:
• SAP APO-SNP (Supply Network Planning)
• SAP APO-PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling)
• SAP APO-GATP (Global Available-to-Promise)
• Familiarity with SAP Core Interface (CIF) and integration with ECC / S4HANA.
• Tactical and strategic planning capabilities, including MRP against projected or actual return & repair flow.
  

SAP IBP Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in SAP IBP, preferably with an APO background.
• Strong understanding of IBP Demand Planning and SOP (Sales & Operations Planning) process flows.
• Experience in:
• IBP Demand model and SOP configuration
• Flat file uploads and data validation
• Data integration techniques
• Access Management and Role Creation for IBP Users
• Ability to configure:
• Attributes, Master Data, Key Figures
• Forecast Profiles, SOP Profiles
• Alerts and Analytics Dashboards (in at least 2 projects)
• Skilled in creating Planning Templates and supporting business users in system understanding.
  

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to lead teams and translate business requirements into functional IT specifications.
• Capable of selecting appropriate solutions aligned with business needs.
