Role Overview
The HR & General Affairs (HRGA) role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, and General Affairs while ensuring full compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations. This role requires strong hands-on experience in HR operations, industrial relations, and local hiring, with the ability to support business growth in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR documentation, and HR system administration.
Oversee payroll coordination, timekeeping, leave management, and benefits administration in compliance with local regulations.
Ensure accurate and timely implementation of company HR policies, SOPs, and employment contracts.
Support performance management, disciplinary processes, and HR data reporting.
Recruitment (Philippines Hiring)
Handle end-to-end recruitment for the Philippines, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
Manage recruitment vendors, job portals, and talent pipelines.
Ensure hiring processes and employment offers comply with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
Handle employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct cases, disciplinary actions, and investigations in accordance with due process.
Support dispute resolution, mediation, and handling of labor-related cases with DOLE or other relevant authorities.
Advise management on employee relations risks and preventive measures.
Legal Compliance & Labor Law
Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., Labor Code of the Philippines, DOLE regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting related to employment and labor compliance.
General Affairs
Manage office administration and general affairs including facilities, vendors, and office services.
Coordinate with third-party service providers related to HR and office operations.
Support company events, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in HR Operations, Recruitment, and General Affairs in the Philippines.
Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment for local hiring.
Strong industrial relations and employee relations experience, including disciplinary case handling and labor disputes.
Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing day-to-day HR operations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
High integrity and ability to handle confidential matters.
