Senior Drupal Front-end Developer

An Enterprise client is seeking a Senior Drupal Front-end Developer to lead and execute front-end development tasks, including theme development, responsive design, JavaScript functionality coding, CSS styling, HTML structuring, debugging, and providing technical guidance to the development team.

Job Description

• Lead and execute Drupal theme development and integration in accordance with Drupal standards.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end functionality using advanced HTML, CSS (including SASS/LESS), and JavaScript, including the Drupal JavaScript API.
• Debug and resolve complex front-end issues, including cross-browser compatibility problems.
• Propose and implement effective, scalable, and intuitive front-end solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Back-end Developers and, when needed, clients to ensure accurate and intuitive implementation of requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and provide coaching and guidance to Junior and Mid-level Developers.
• Work within the development team with a strong sense of ownership and minimal supervision.
• Adhere to Drupal standards and established best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Use industry-standard development tools such as Drush, Git, and Composer as required for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Drupal theming, Twig templates, and Drupal standards.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS.
• Understanding of Drupal behaviors and the Drupal JavaScript API.
• Cross-browser and responsive design expertise.
• Familiarity with Git, Composer, and Drush.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
