Our US-based client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join their advanced AI research team. Their AI technologies are deployed at scale and support major global brands across Consumer-Packaged Goods, Health & Well-Being, Technology, and Retail industries.

What Youll Do

Innovate & Prototype

• Lead the design and development of advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions—from concept to prototype.

Research to Production

• Apply and extend state-of-the-art methodologies.
• Translate leading research papers into scalable, production-ready models.

End-to-End Data Science Ownership

• Manage the full ML lifecycle: data collection, aggregation, modeling, analysis, visualization, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Ensure continuous model performance and optimization.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work independently within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Clearly communicate complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders.

Infrastructure & Automation

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for ML systems.
• Leverage cloud-based ML infrastructure (Azure ML preferred) for scalable training and deployment.

What Youll Bring

Essential Qualifications

• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and deep learning.
• Expert-level Python proficiency (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.) and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Strong understanding of classical ML techniques (SVM, clustering, boosting, etc.).
• Proven ability to independently implement and adapt complex ML research.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated model retraining systems.
• Must reside within commuting distance of a company office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Publications in premier conferences (CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH).
• Experience with RLHF, iterative retraining approaches, and model drift detection.
• Familiarity with diffusion models, transfer learning, and multi-modal datasets.
• Experience with terabyte-scale datasets and training large-scale models (100M–1B+ parameters) in multi-GPU environments.
• Experience with Azure ML and LLM integration within production pipelines.
