The Senior Content Lead acts as the Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director. This role is responsible for developing the overarching content strategy, managing the editorial calendar, and ensuring that all creative output—text, visual, and video—aligns strictly with the brand’s voice and business objectives. The Senior Content Lead transitions from pure creation to leadership, supervising the Content Production Team. They are responsible for quality control, workflow optimization, and integrating Generative A.I. tools to scale content production while maintaining brand authenticity.
Duties And Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Editorial Management
Develops and owns the monthly and quarterly Content Calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales goals.
Defines the "Content Pillars" and creative direction for all platforms (Social Media, Website, In-Store Digital Signage).
Collaborates with the Junior Marketing Analyst to interpret performance data and adjust content strategies based on audience engagement and ROI.
Team Leadership & Quality Control
Co-manages the department with the Marketing Strategist.
Supervises and mentors the Content Creator and Junior Content Creator, assigning tasks, managing deadlines, and conducting performance reviews.
Acts as the final "Quality Gatekeeper" for all published materials. Reviews and approves captions, scripts, graphics, and videos to ensure they meet TEI’s aesthetic standards and brand guidelines.
Facilitates creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative campaign ideas.
Brand Voice & Community Guardianship
Maintains and evolves the TEI Brand Guide, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across all customer touchpoints.
Oversees community management strategies (executed by the Junior team) to ensure customer inquiries and comments are handled with the H.E.R.R.O.I.C. values (Customer First).
Manages crisis communication on social media in coordination with the Marketing Strategist.
A.I. Tool Integration & Workflow Optimization
Leads the adoption of A.I. tools (e.g., ChatGPT for script ideation, Midjourney for storyboarding, A.I. video editing tools) to increase the teams output speed and efficiency.
Establishes "A.I. Usage Guidelines" to ensure that AI-generated content remains authentic to the brand and factually accurate.
Optimizes the content production workflow (from ideation to publishing) to reduce bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
Willing to work onsite on a daily basis
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or creative direction. At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Advanced Copywriting, Social Media Strategy, Project Management (Agile/Scrum), and Leadership/Coaching.
Proven experience leading end-to-end creative campaigns, from concept development to execution across multiple channels.
Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in content strategy, storytelling, visual design, and campaign execution.
Hands-on experience managing content across digital platforms, including social media, websites, performance marketing, and internal communications.
Solid understanding of brand management, creative standards, and quality control processes.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, Performance, and Leadership.
Proficiency in creative and collaboration tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, content management systems, project management tools).
Technical Skills:
Strategic Planning: Ability to build long-term content frameworks.
Editorial Judgment: impeccable grammar and visual eye.
A.I. Literacy: Proficiency in prompting and editing A.I. outputs.
Analytics: Understanding of social metrics (Reach, Engagement, CTR).
