Your Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will be responsible for:

General

• SQL and Query performance Optimization: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently. Optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and data structures for maximum efficiency and performance. Identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake. Ensure data quality and consistency.
• Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau. Customize visuals to meet business requirements
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest BI technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools or methodologies to enhance BI capabilities.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to BI solutions. Provide advanced support to end-users and address technical challenges.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and report development. Ensure knowledge transfer within the team
• Regular performance reports for Members, Fundraisers and Merchants and insights to provide data for tracking effectiveness of campaigns and processes
• Respond to data and product related inquiries in real-time to support business and technical teams
• Contribute to Technology strategic plan to continuously move Entertainment forward in the marketplace
  
  

Additional duties

• Calculate eligible commissions for Fundraising groups using complex SQL logics.
• Enterprise Monthly Client Dashboards
• Enterprise Monthly Overall Dashboard
• Marketing segment Data File creation
• Waitstaff, Merchant Seller
• SME for projects
• Continuous process improvement
• Promotion and creation of new governance material for processes and procedures
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Advanced SQL Proficiency: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization is mandatory.
• BI Tool Mastery: High-level proficiency in at least one major BI tool, specifically Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Data Modeling & ETL: Extensive experience in architecting data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas) and developing robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Technical Ecosystem: Confirmed exposure and proficiency with Git (version control), Visual Studio, or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Dashboard Development: Proven ability to create interactive dashboards using a variety of advanced visuals and charts to translate raw data into actionable insights.
• Analytical Foundations: Strong skills in MS Excel for supplemental data analysis.

• Leadership & Mentorship: As a senior role, the candidate should be capable of architecting advanced solutions and acting as a technical leader within the BI field.
• Tool Versatility: While one tool is required, preferred candidates often have exposure to a combination of tools like Power BI AND Tableau.
• Advanced Solution Design: Experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of BI development, from data extraction to the final delivery of strategic insights.
