Your Role

As a Senior Audit Data Analyst, you will:

• Lead the execution of the analytics and automation roadmap using Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, and Databricks.
• Build and publish AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to automate audit procedures and provide innovative risk insights.
• Conduct IT process walkthroughs and testing to support the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) programs.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify internal control gaps, system outages, or emerging risks within IT procedures.
• Prepare high-quality workpapers and audit reports that translate technical data findings into actionable business recommendations for senior management.
• Advise process and control owners on internal control requirements while promoting the adoption of digital audit tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities for AI-driven auditing and process automation.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics
• 2–4 years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, preferably within a publicly traded company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, programming, and building/writing Excel Macros (VBA).
• Hands-on experience with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of automation and AI platforms, specifically Power Automate, Alteryx, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Understanding of IT control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) and experience auditing IT General Controls (ITGCs).
• Ability to work independently during US Eastern Time Zone business hours.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Advanced Certifications: CISA, CIA, or Advanced in AI Audit (AAIA™) are strongly encouraged; CISSP or AIGP are significant pluses.
• Master’s degree in a relevant technical or financial field.
• Experience with Databricks and building/testing agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Technical certifications in specialized tools like Alteryx (Designer Core/Advanced) or Microsoft PL-300/PL-500.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise ERP systems, and project management tools like JIRA or Workfront.
• Deep understanding of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or ISO 42001 standards
