It is a world-leading provider of OTC market data, offering unbiased data products that facilitate trading, enhance transparency, reduce risk and improve operational efficiency. Senior Associate Director, Manager, Data Quality

The Senior Associate Director, Manager of Data Quality manages Data Quality staff across all responsibilities as directed by Function Head, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data across internal systems and client-facing platforms.

This role requires a proactive and analytical professional who can independently manage diagnostics, collaborate across teams, and drive continuous improvement in data quality processes. The Senior Associate Director, Manager of Data Quality performs duties with little to no supervision and spends more than 20% of their time on projects and process innovation, driving efficiency and advancing organizational objectives.

Beyond operational oversight, the Senior Associate Director is also responsible for strategic planning, succession development, and strengthening collaboration across functions to support long-term organizational success.

  • Autonomy: Independently manages day to day functioning of the Data Quality team
  • Decision-making: Makes decisions impacting workflows, staffing, prioritization

Role Responsibilities

Team Operations & Management

  • Manage day-to-day team operations, ensuring smooth execution of Fulfilment Operations tasks and service delivery.
  • Provide structured feedback and coaching to analysts and specialists to support performance and growth.
  • Develop talent and succession plans to ensure long-term team capability and readiness.
  • Facilitate team discussions and promote knowledge sharing across levels.
  • Drive success of all Data Quality functions by managing team rosters, workflows, prioritization

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Own team strategy and long-term planning aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a key liaison between leadership and operational teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact on efficiency, quality, or client satisfaction.
  • Influence team culture and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Review CATE reports and identify areas and strategies for improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders through consistent delivery and strategic insight.
  • Collaborate across departments (Sales, Product, Data Science, etc.) to align goals and streamline support.
  • Represent the team in leadership forums and strategic discussions.

General Duties

  • Test and validate all new tools implemented to improve Fulfilment Operations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Fulfilment Operations Leads, Specialists, and Analysts.
  • Ensure alignment of team activities with strategic Fulfilment Operations goals.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Fulfilment Operations Manager

Essential

Experience / Competences

Senior Associate Director, Manager of Data Quality

  • Ability or experience that qualifies candidate to manage staffing, workflows, and prioritization across all Data Quality functions, and spend >20% of time on projects and process innovation.

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a fulfilment operation within financial services or market data environments.
  • Two to Three Years in leadership or team management role.
  • Proven experience managing operational teams and driving performance.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong analytics and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven experience in developing dashboards and performance reports.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Exposure to CATE reporting and improvement strategies.
  • Experience in succession planning and talent development.
  • Familiarity with performance tracking tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of all Data Quality roles, functions, processes, deliverables and priorities
