Senior Application Technologist (Savory) - Your future position?

As the Senior Application Technologist (Savory) , you will support customer projects, as well as research process by preparing and selecting flavours andmaintaining data relevant to flavour portfolio, according to EH&S policies and business needs. In this role, you will report to the Technical Head and will be based in Pasig, Manila.

Flavour Application

• Prepare flavoured food products for customer projects, presentations, and research activities.
• Select the most suitable flavours for each project, considering customer requirements, regulatory standards, legislation, and technical cost parameters.
• Participate in flavour evaluations across food applications for briefs, research studies, and portfolio reviews.
• Contribute to tasting sessions and customer or visitor presentations, providing sensory insights and technical support.
  
  

Data Management

• Manage and maintain flavour data and recipe documentation for all food product applications.
• Ensure accurate evaluation and documentation of flavour performance data, capturing sensory profiles and product outcomes to support portfolio optimization.
  
  

Environmental Health & Safety

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment in full compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.

Your professional profile includes

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in a simiar role.
• Strong R&D background in savoury applications, specializing in sauce and noodle segments; experience with food service savoury products is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of research documentation protocols, lab procedures, and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and environmental standards, as well as food product production processes.
• Basic awareness of financial aspects of flavour selection, including cost‑in‑use and margins.
• Skilled in sensory evaluation with the ability to describe flavour profiles accurately.
• Communicates clearly, works well in teams, demonstrates analytical thinking.
• Manage time and priorities effectively, and drives results with a focus on quality outcomes.
