Senior Analyst Training Operations

Join our Risk Management Group and support the effective and efficient operations by providing centralised services for strategy, data management, analytics, change, projects, and learning and development. The team also establishes and oversees key risk management framework elements and supports Macquarie-wide risk training.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for monitoring and managing mandatory training escalations and breaches within Macquaries Governance, Risk and Compliance system. You will oversee the rollout and assignment of mandatory training, as well as address queries, extensions, and exemptions related to training requirements.

In addition, you will be involved in conducting insightful data analysis of training metrics to support reporting, audit and assurance activities. You will engage with stakeholders across various Macquarie businesses to ensure effective communication and collaboration as well as provide support on projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

What You Offer

• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in Learning Management Systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide, support and motivate team members to achieve shared goals
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development across a broad range of subject areas
• Proficient data literacy, with proven experience in analysing and interpreting insights from multiple data sources
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel) and familiarity with Alteryx and PowerBI an advantage.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
