Job Description

YOUR ROLE:

• Facilitate Scrum Events
• Organize and facilitate key Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Standups Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective meetings
• Ensure that the team follows the Agile framework and principles during these events
• Team Support
• Support the development team in delivering high quality products within the agreed time frames
• Shield the team from external interferences and distractions to maintain focus on the sprint goals
• Foster a culture of collaboration openness and continuous improvement within the team
• Remove Impediments
• Identify and eliminate impediments or obstacles that hinder the team’s progress
• Work with stakeholders and other teams to resolve cross-team dependencies and issues
• Coach and Mentor
• Coach the team members on Agile Scrum practices and values
• Mentor the team to improve their efficiency and effectiveness continuously
• Metrics and Reporting
• Maintain and provide transparency into team progress by tracking key Agile metrics such as velocity burndown charts and sprint release progress
• Continuous Improvement
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the team and the organization
• Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the team to implement changes
• Stakeholder Communication
• Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and expectations
• Foster a positive relationship with stakeholders to ensure their needs are addressed effectively
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimumof 8-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.
• Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and delivering projects in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile principles, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Has the following certifications:
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent SAFe certification
