Role Overview Summary

The purpose of the role is to support implementation of the risk and vulnerability assessments and the Women, Peace and Security Index study in Luzon, particularly in the Bicol Region. Additionally, the post holder will be working closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator to develop digital dashboard and support the use of it.

Ideal Applicant Summary

We are looking for a candidate with experience in the field of resilience building and/or social cohesion. The ideal candidate should have experience in women, peace and security agenda, excellent interpersonal skills and good facilitation and report writing skills.

Additional Information

This is a national volunteer position open to nationals of Philippines only as we are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.

Allowance and accommodation

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
