The Recruitment Officer is responsible for developing, directing, and implementing effective recruitment, selection, and placement strategies to fill/close the various hiring requests of assigned business groups within the prescribed turnaround time and in accordance with the hiring policy and procedures of the bank
Responsibilities
Reviews personnel requisitions, ensuring that the business requirements are well defined and understood for effective sourcing; calibrates with the business and ensure timely and accurate processing of requests
Develops and utilizes different sources of applicants; creates/recommends attractive job postings/ads and marketing collaterals, and establishes and maintains good relations with schools/universities and various student organizations
Assesses, recommends, and implements appropriate selection methodologies to ensure their effectiveness
Assesses, accredits, and manages external service providers and search firms
Ensures compliance to internal hiring policies and external regulations
Designs, amends, adopts new / existing policies, system or guidelines to maintain an efficient and relevant screening and selection process consistent with the bank’s culture, values, and expectations
Manages the work of staff/employees under his/her supervision; trains, mentors, and promotes them, and addresses their developmental gaps, if any
Ensures timely and accurate processing of candidates’ applications from sourcing to job offer
Conducts job offers and negotiates effectively with chosen candidates based on approved salary structure/ compensation package
Updates hiring managers on the status of their vacancies and/ or applicants on a regular basis
Also updates candidates on the status of their applications in a timely manner and keep them warm if encountering some issues that may delay the process
Handles and manages Internal Job Postings for own accounts
Receives, evaluates, and processes employee transfer requests (lateral and intercompany) for approval and implementation because of internal job postings
Handles recruitment related issues given his/her level of responsibility and escalates those that are beyond his/her authority for immediate resolution
Prepares and submits reports on sourcing/vacancy and hiring status on a regular basis, including other reports as may be required by the department head and /or the higher up
Organizes/leads cadences with assigned accounts and sends the hiring report on a weekly and regular basis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources or any relevant field
Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent training
