Job Description

The Project Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting IT and business projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and smooth production support. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to guarantee accurate requirements, effective testing, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects and maintenance requests on time.
  • Conduct quality testing to minimize post-production issues.
  • Guide business teams in providing complete and accurate requirements.
  • Equip team members with the skills, tools, and knowledge to perform effectively.
  • Resolve or escalate production issues promptly to maintain business continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college/university.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Project Officer in IT or business (Assistant Manager to Senior Manager rank).
  • Preferably with an operations background.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Project Development Life Cycle
    • Agile and Hybrid Project Management methodologies
    • Agile and Design Thinking practice
  • Experience in project management and working on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Understanding of business processes related to applications handled.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
