Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Project Finance Specialist based in the Philippines to support our project finance operations in Europe. This role provides coordination and financial support across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, documentation management, and technical accounting processes. The analyst will interact daily with internal teams based in Europe including Project Finance Managers (PFMs), Controllership, Legal, Accounts Payable team, and Treasury, leveraging systems such as SAP, Unifier, and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities Include

Project Budgeting & Cost Control

• Enter and maintain budgets in Unifier based on contract and CBS understanding.
• Support EAC and ETC updates, analyze variances, and ensure alignment with project forecasts.
• Review and analyze actual expenses and labor bookings; support month-over-month reviews with PFMs.
  
  

Financial Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare internal reports from SAP, Unifier, Salesforce.
• Develop insights from actuals vs forecasts and build cash flow inputs.
• Track and reconcile open commitments and labor analytics to support project decisions.
  
  

Revenue Management & Compliance

• Perform invoice creation and adjustment in SAP, aligned with customer and tax requirements.
• Ensure SOX control documentation for revenue and goods fulfilment is complete and audit-ready.
  
  

Operational Support & Documentation

• Perform GRs and GIs in SAP for inventory and services.
• Coordinate PO and invoice tracking, identify accrual needs.
• Update and manage project documentation in SharePoint.
• Support validation of data and tie-outs in Month End Workbench/Forecast Workbench and other financial close processes.
• Analyze and process project related documents (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, etc.).
• Assist in shipping processes (maintaining commercial invoices and proof of delivery)
  
  

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as first-line support for documentation queries.
• Collaborate with PFMs, AP, Legal, Logistics, Tax and Treasury to support end-to-end financial control.
• Participate in weekly AP coordination and support ongoing system and reporting improvements.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in financial analysis or project accounting, ideally in a shared services or remote support setup.
• Strong command of SAP, Unifier/Primavera, Salesforce, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition, accruals, and SOX documentation.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working in global or cross-cultural teams preferred.
• Ability to work in European time zone, GMT 08:00-17:00
