There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).

CHI is a shared services center providing transactional, processing, and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting, information technology, supply chain management, human resources, downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998, CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

• End to end procurement activities which consist of requisitioning, buying, expediting and open order monitoring
• Create requisition, project, project request the in-ERP system
• Convert a requisition into a purchase order (PO). These include Requesting for Quotes (RFQ), negotiating with suppliers, handling technical queries, sending of PO to suppliers and coordinating of material movements with suppliers, freight forwarders and shippers to ensure
• on time delivery of material
• Daily expediting of orders for suppliers acknowledgement, delivery reminders and overdue traces
• Provide monthly metrics and other periodic report analysis and monitoring to ensure performance within service level agreements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, or any business course
• Demonstrate excellent planning, business, analytical, and communication skills
• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience in Order Expediting/Buying/Buyer Process/ Procurement/Supply Chain function
• Must be open to learning and exploring a variety of Procurement/Supply Chain business areas
• Must be open to go on shifting schedules (Morning and Mid)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Procurement/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage
• Knowledge in Procurement process, Contracting, e-Sourcing, contract administration, and eProcurement would be an advantage
• Knowledge in ERP tools such as SAP/JDE/Smart GEP would be an advantage
