Procurement Officer 1 Year Contract

Job Description

• Research potential vendors
• Assist in preparation of Cost Tabulation/Canvass Sheet
• Responsible for sourcing, and processing orders related to hotel accommodation and transportation
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Assist in updating internal databases and forms
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Liaise with both external parties and internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements (goods and services) are met
• Can do multitasking and be able to meet deadlines
  
  

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Administration, Management or equivalent.
• At least 1 year related work experience in Purchasing, Inventory/Material, and Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Excellent negotiation skills and can maintain a good relationship with the supplier
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Knowledgeable and experienced in using social media and online markets for purchasing techniques
• Flexible and can work under pressure
• Computer literate (MS Office, Open Office), Internet savvy
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Can work with minimal or without supervision; exhibits a sense of urgency when necessary
• Keen on details, organized, highly analytical, resourceful, and proactive
