Your Role

As a Photo Retoucher / Image Editor, you will:

• Correct color balance, adjust shadow/highlight values, and perform professional-grade retouching on digital image sets for web and print distribution.
• Collaborate directly with photographers and department leads throughout the lifecycle of each production asset.
• Apply strict file naming conventions, formats, and structural organization across all active assets.
• Catalog and archive extensive photographic files categorized precisely by automotive manufacturer, model year, make, and trim level.
• Audit and maintain the company's media image database to ensure it remains accurate, updated, and completely synchronized.
• Document project progress in Jira by logging precise work hours, updating task statuses, and providing comprehensive technical comments.

What You Need:

• Advanced Photoshop Expertise: Proven experience using recent versions of Adobe Photoshop for professional photographic retouching and image cleanup.
• Database & File Integrity: Strong technical skills in file archiving, digital asset management, and strict data organization.
• Project Tracking Literacy: Ability to actively utilize workflow tools like Jira for task tracking and logging operational hours.
• Computer Literacy: Strong baseline PC skills, including intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Operational Flexibility: Clear availability and willingness to perform periodic overtime to meet strict vehicle launch and publication deadlines.
  
  

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Formal or semi-formal training in graphic arts, digital design, or professional photography from a recognized institution.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Bridge, Camera Raw, and working natively within Mac operating systems.
• Exceptional self-motivation with a microscopic attention to visual detail, lighting inconsistencies, and pixel defects.
• Ability to present creative concepts or technical file limitations in clear, business-friendly language to cross-functional stakeholders.
