Role 1: Product Management Intern - Payroll Tax & Compliance Team
About The Opportunity:
The Payroll Product team designs and maintains the U.S. and Canadian tax and compliance features within Dayforce Payroll. When tax laws or government regulations change, our team ensures the product is updated accurately and on time.
In this role, you’ll learn how legislation becomes software — and how product teams turn complex regulatory requirements into clear, structured solutions that engineers can build.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Research U.S. and Canadian payroll tax and compliance updates
- Translate regulatory changes into clear, structured product documentation
- Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Compliance experts, and Engineers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Support testing and validation of new tax and compliance updates before release
- Identify opportunities to improve research and documentation processes, including leveraging AI tools
Skills And Experience We Value:
- Final year undergraduate or post-graduate students with a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Role 2: Product Management Intern - Technical Operations & AI Enablement
About The Opportunity:
This role sits at the intersection of product management, technical execution, product operations, and AI-enabled productivity. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve how work is structured, documented, and delivered, while identifying practical ways to leverage AI to accelerate productivity and execution.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Support Product Managers in turning ambiguous inputs into clear, actionable product artifacts
- Write and refine user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and working documentation
- Partner with Engineering to understand system behavior, constraints, dependencies, and implementation tradeoffs
- Improve product team operating cadence through better documentation, process rigor, and workflow support
- Identify practical ways to use AI tools to improve team productivity across research, synthesis, and internal workflows
- Contribute to backlog readiness, delivery support, and cross-functional alignment
Skills And Experience We Value:
- Final year undergraduate or post-graduate students
- Strong interest in product management, technology, and how software teams operate
- Clear written thinking and the ability to translate complex or ambiguous information into structured output
- Comfort working with technical concepts such as APIs, data flows, system dependencies, and software delivery processes
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail
- High learning velocity, sound judgment, and bias toward execution
What Would Really Make You Stand Out:
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar workflow/documentation tools
- Exposure to Agile delivery, requirements writing, or process design
