Your Role

The Payroll Practitioner will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, supporting finance administrative functions, and assisting with tax‑related tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in payroll systems, and a solid understanding of finance and taxation principles. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Management (50%)
  • Process end‑to‑end payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Validate and reconcile timesheets, leave records, adjustments, and employee data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory labor requirements.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other employee movements.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management and finance.
  • Address payroll inquiries from employees professionally and promptly.
  • Finance Administration (30%)
  • Assist in accounts reconciliation related to payroll accounts.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets relating to compensation.
  • Manage financial documentation, filing, and record‑keeping aligned with audit requirements.
  • Process and track invoices, reimbursements, and other finance-related transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end closing activities involving payroll and benefits.
  • Tax & Compliance Support (20%)
  • Ensure payroll tax calculations and withholding taxes are accurate.
  • Assist with government filings, statutory contributions, and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors or government agencies for tax-related requirements.
  • Stay updated on local tax rules, regulations, and payroll law changes affecting the company.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in payroll processing or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding of taxation and statutory contributions.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS or payroll software.
  • Knowledge of government reporting portals (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR—if PH context).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
