Your Role
Process payroll in accordance with company payroll procedures and schedules.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries, including pay concerns, superannuation, and Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) administration.
Process invoices through the Customer Management System and Xero, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and effective management of overdue invoices.
Reconcile invoices and maintain accurate financial records between the Customer Management System and Xero.
Manage service bookings through PRODA, the NDIS organizational management system.
Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes while conducting invoice audits to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
Provide administrative support, including managing shift changes, handling phone inquiries, and performing general administrative tasks.
Assist with company audits by ensuring NDIA-required documentation and records are complete and up to date.
Support internal audits related to company forms, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Assist management with finance and administrative tasks as required.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, finance, accounts administration, or a similar administrative role.
Proven experience processing payroll accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
Experience in accounts receivable, invoice processing, reconciliations, and resolving payment discrepancies.
Hands-on experience using accounting software, preferably Xero or a similar ERP/accounting system.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond professionally to payroll and finance-related inquiries.
High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential employee and financial information.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience with Australian payroll standards.
Experience using Xero for payroll and accounting functions.
Experience assisting with Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) administration.
Previous experience in the healthcare, disability, aged care, or community services sector.
