The Opportunity

Our client has 25 years of delivering bespoke support in insurance law, employment law, and personal injury, and they're seeking a Paralegal to work closely with solicitors on plaintiff personal injury matters, employment law disputes, and the defence of insurance claims for insurer and corporate clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare legal documents, including witness statements, affidavits, chronologies, and statements of loss and damage.
  • Draft correspondence for clients, insurers, employers, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Review, organise, and summarise medical, financial, taxation, and other evidentiary records.
  • Coordinate medico-legal examinations and prepare supporting briefs and litigation materials.
  • Manage electronic legal files, diaries, deadlines, and document tracking using Smokeball.


Key Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal support, legal assistant, or paralegal role.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting legal or professional documents.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Smokeball or similar legal practice management software is highly desirable.
  • Experience in personal injury, employment, insurance, or litigation matters; a Bachelor of Laws (completed or in progress) is an advantage.


Work Set Up

  • Manila (BGC, Taguig): Full onsite setup for the first 3–6 months, aligned with Australian business hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PHT. Depending on performance, the role will transition to a hybrid setup thereafter.
