We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee our Manila-based Operational Support Team (OST). This role is suited to a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in maritime operations, intelligence, and/or security management. You will oversee a team providing 24/7 monitoring, reporting, and operational support to Crisis24’s global maritime consulting services, in addition to broader support to Crisis24’s Crisis & Security Consulting (CSC) team. What You Will Work On
As the OST Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for the smooth, efficient, and continuous operation of CSC’s team in the Philippines, including (but not limited to):
Oversee the development of all maritime monitoring, consulting, and reporting services
Supervise the production of bespoke maritime consultancy reports, investigations, incident summaries, and analytical outputs supporting clients globally
Lead and coordinate a shift-based team, maintaining balanced rosters and ensuring consistent staffing levels across all hours
Develop, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive quality and efficiency
Monitor performance metrics and uphold service standards for accuracy, timeliness, and reliability
Collaborate with CSC’s global consulting teams to support client operations, including both pre-incident consulting and crisis response
Oversee a range of tasks in support of CSC’s global team, including bespoke analytical products, administrative functions, business development support, and other varied tasks as required

You will collaborate with colleagues across the Crisis24 global network – including teams in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific – as well as with partners within the GardaWorld group. Cross-functional teamwork with our Special Risks, All Hazards, and Product Risk units will be a key part of your role.
You Will Work Closely With
The Regional Director for Asia-Pacific and other members of CSC specialising in maritime consulting services, ensuring alignment with broader Crisis24 operational priorities
A team of 6–8 maritime specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development
Maritime consultants and intelligence specialists across Crisis24’s global network, ensuring the Manila centre’s outputs integrate seamlessly into client deliverables
Clients and internal stakeholderscontribute to intelligence briefings, incident updates, and operational support activities
What You Will Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in maritime studies, intelligence, security management, or a related discipline
Experience: At least 5 years in maritime operations, shipping intelligence, or risk management, with experience managing small operational teams
Technical knowledge: Familiarity with AIS data, vessel tracking systems, and maritime security frameworks (e.g., BMP5, IMB, IMO regulations)
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate staff within a 24/7 operational structure
Analytical mindset: Strong attention to detail, ability to assess complex maritime situations, and deliver clear, concise intelligence outputs
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a professional approach to internal and external coordination
Resilience and adaptability: Comfortable managing operational challenges, shifting priorities, and high-pressure situations
Native-level proficiency in English, written and spoken
Demonstrated interest or experience in maritime security, including awareness of global threat actors and High Risk Areas
An understanding of security and risk management principles based on best practice standards
Excellent analytical and communication skills, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
A flexible and adaptable approach, including willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region, occasionally to higher-risk environments
Integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information
Strong IT literacy, including use of Microsoft applications and OSINT tools
Eligibility to reside and work in the Philippines
Preferred
Experience working or travelling within the Asia-Pacific, particularly in complex or high-risk environments
Familiarity with OSINT monitoring platforms and digital threat intelligence tools
Awareness of malware/ransomware trends, or experience contributing to cyber threat assessments
Understanding of cross-domain security challenges — maritime, cyber, supply chain, port security, etc
