About The Job

The Organic Search Specialists primary responsibility is to lead and execute strategies across the Organic Search landscape. This includes driving optimization efforts, conducting thorough Keyword and Competitor Analysis, and managing Technical SEO activities. In addition, the Organic Search Specialist will audit, monitor, and implement SEO best practices to maximise the discoverability and performance of our websites across organic and paid channels that target local users with the goal of driving lead flow.

As an Organic Search Specialist, You Will…

  • Support the Search Marketing team in executing and delivering priority Organic Search projects across SEO, Data & Insight, and Content areas.
  • Support the team with new and ongoing digital projects, such as website crawls/launches (Magnolia), competitor analysis (international/local), B2B campaign optimization, and organic/paid social media initiatives.
  • Contribute to the creation of SEO management procedures, processes, best practices, and self-help resources to support our brand.
  • Serve as the primary technical SEO contact for international markets, providing BAU support, implementation guidance, and optimization strategies for global websites.
  • If required, assist the SEO team in troubleshooting sticking points in organic growth and helping develop future SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience, Digital Projects and Deployment, Digital Account Management, and third-party vendors to implement the Digital Search Strategy operationally.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to ideate organic search improvements, driving conversions, such as split testing third-party on-page review PLP layouts, messaging, CTAs, or placement, and requesting local market user research and insight when needed.
  • Execute and support Organic SEO actions/insights from routine audits, ensuring websites meet high-quality SEO standards and best practices.
  • Use free or paid third-party SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, GA4, Conductor) to propose specific on-page and off-page SEO recommendations to reverse any downward trends.
  • Support the implementation or coordination of on-site and off-site audit recommendations for all SEO factors impacting organic performance, including XML sitemaps, crawl error management, page & URL structure, image optimization, and other necessary search marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with external SEO agencies to develop and facilitate Organic SEO strategy and planning as needed.

As an Organic Search Specialist, You Need…

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO (robots.txt, 301 redirects, hreflang, schema), and local search ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to define technical considerations through audits and develop holistic on-page, local, and social media strategies to drive organic visibility.
  • Familiarity with the web development cycle, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Trends, and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio).
  • Experience using 3rd-party tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and enterprise Content Management Systems (WordPress/Magnolia).
  • Basic image manipulation skills (Photoshop) and experience with B2B marketing technology landscapes.
  • An analytical mindset, highly numerical and meticulous, with the ability to identify fluctuations in performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines autonomously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
  • A process-driven approach with a motivation for continuous learning and the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
