Your Role

As a Optical Assistant Spanish Bilingual, you will:

• Assist customers with account registration, online navigation, and order completion in both Spanish and English.
• Guide customers in selecting frames and appropriate lens options based on style and prescription needs.
• Read, interpret, and verify prescription accuracy to ensure custom lens orders are processed correctly.
• Check real-time product inventory and offer alternatives when items are unavailable.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, returns, exchanges, and refunds following established company procedures.
• Communicate order updates, delays, and tracking details to set clear customer expectations.
• Log interactions, account updates, and cases accurately in Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Gather customer feedback and forward insights to marketing and product teams for platform improvement.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bilingual Fluency: Fluent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English.
• Optical & Prescription Literacy: Ability to accurately read, verify, and explain vision prescriptions, lens types, and frame measurements.
• CRM Operations: Direct experience using Salesforce Service Cloud (or equivalent enterprise CRM systems) for case management.
• Problem-Solving & De-escalation: Strong objection-handling and conflict-resolution skills to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Data Security & Privacy: Strict adherence to data privacy standards when handling customer payment details and confidential records.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience in e-commerce customer support, retail optical, or optometry practices.
• Familiarity with order tracking, logistics, and inventory management systems.
• High attention to detail when verifying prescription variables (sphere, cylinder, axis, and pupillary distance).
• Adaptability to undergo regular technical training on optical products and software updates.
