Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our One Digital Warehouse team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of our critical digital warehouse systems, leveraging your expertise in software engineering, DevOps, and product management to drive innovation and ensure high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions within the One Digital Warehouse ecosystem, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure delivered solutions align with strategic goals.
• Champion and implement DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, scalability, and adherence to security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our digital warehouse applications.
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of software quality assurance processes and methodologies, working to enhance testing strategies and ensure robust software.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency, performance, and overall system capabilities.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering roles, with a strong focus on building scalable and robust enterprise-level applications.
• Proven expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to and influence product development from a technical perspective, understanding the intersection of technology and business value.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Software Quality Assurance (SQ) principles, including various testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, performance).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, C#) and experience with relevant frameworks.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, proactivity, and a strong, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset.
• System Design & Optimization: Ability to design robust, maintainable systems, anticipate scaling issues, and optimize for performance.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Guiding junior engineers, conducting code reviews, improving team velocity, and making critical technical decisions.
