Your Role

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:

• Monitor, maintain, and support network and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Respond to system alerts and incidents, performing initial diagnosis and resolution based on established SOPs.
• Escalate complex or unresolved incidents to appropriate teams while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance, capacity, and availability.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors for incident resolution and maintenance activities.
• Generate reports on network performance, incident trends, and resolution metrics.
• Support scheduled maintenance activities, upgrades, patching, and network changes.
• Maintain updated knowledge of network topology, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in shifting schedules and on-call rotations as required.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Experience in network operations, NOC, or IT infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Experience troubleshooting network, server, and application-related issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup (Mall of Asia, Pasay) on a shifting schedule, including on-call duties.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python for scripting or automation tasks.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or multi-site network environments.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation or monitoring optimization.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
• Experience generating operational and performance reports.
• Background in coordinating with managed service providers or external vendors.
