Network Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
• Support project teams in the delivery of wider IT service.
• Support and perform routine automation tasks to ensure compliance for secure configuration, configuration backup management and routine firmware upgrades/updates
• Management of network incidents escalations from L1/L2, incident and problem and security incident response.
• Provide hands-on support for VLAN configuration, Layer 2/3 routing, port security, and other enterprise-grade network features.
• Configure VPN and SDWAN.
• Manage Cloud platform (MS Azura or AWS) on networking and security setup.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on rack layout and cabling interconnects.
• Responsible to work with the respective IT teams in troubleshooting and identify root cause, related to network.
• Manage network infrastructure to ensure alignment of technical requirements.
• Provide technical inputs on the procurement of network equipment and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Ensure disaster recovery plan testing activities are performed and technical criteria are met.
• Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact.
• Support network operation using GUI and tools, including daily health check, end user support, weekly/monthly routine operation
  
  

• ITIL Certification (preferred)
• Certifications in network engineering, such as CCNA/CCNP are highly desirable.
