What You'll Do
Build and maintain production-grade, end-to-end software solutions and APIs for internal tools, applications, and customer-facing platforms.
Develop scalable Golang applications, applying software engineering best practices, coding standards, and maintainable design principles.
Automate business and network-related processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Design and solve complex performance, architectural, and distributed-systems challenges.
Work closely with stakeholders and internal teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and delivery.
Develop and integrate solutions using technologies such as event buses, caches, workflow tools, and containerised environments.
Implement and support CI/CD, observability, and operational practices, including OpenAPI, OpenTelemetry, metrics, logging, and tracing.
Participate in code reviews, technical meetings, training, and special projects as directed by the Network Automation Manager.
Work independently with strong initiative and accountability while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Criteria
At least 3 years experience developing production-grade applications using Golang, with a strong understanding of the Go toolchain.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API development, system design, testing, coding standards, and maintainable architecture.
Experience developing distributed systems and processing solutions, preferably involving external event buses, caching, or workflow technologies.
Experience with containerised applications and familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm concepts.
Experience with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery environments.
Strong understanding of observability, including OpenTelemetry, metrics, logs, tracing, and visualisation.
Experience with PostgreSQL and OpenAPI is highly regarded.
Familiarity with networking and infrastructure concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TACACS, RADIUS, Cisco IOS-XR, and integration with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is highly regarded.
Work setup:
Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am–3:00pm PHT) with a flexible work arrangement.
