Network Administrator Network Telecom

The Network Administrator will be part of the Infor Global Infrastructure Operations Network Team. This hybrid role combines Network and Telecom Administration responsibilities, focusing on maintaining and enhancing a critical global network infrastructure. The position offers a unique blend of hands-on technical challenges and collaboration with a diverse, international team, providing valuable experience and growth opportunities in network administration and security. This role is vital in supporting business operations by ensuring reliable network connectivity and security, particularly for Infor offices across the EMEA region.

What You Will Need?
Required Skills:

* Minimum 1 year of experience in LAN/Wireless network administration.
* Minimum 1 year of WAN network experience.
* Hands-on experience with network data security.
* Proficiency with Cisco routing/switching hardware and firewall technologies.
* Scripting and automation knowledge to streamline network operations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English verbal and written).
* Cisco certification (CCNA, CCDA, or CCNP) is preferred.
* Experience working in a global or multi-site organization.

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Skills:

* Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cattools, and etc.).
* Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments.
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
* Experience with VPN technologies and remote access solutions
* Multilingual capabilities for better communication across EMEA offices

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

* Perform daily network administration tasks to maintain network health and uptime.
* Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
* Provide technical support via telephone, email, and direct interaction with end-users (on-desk or remote).
* Coordinate network changes and planned outages with relevant teams.
* Maintain an accurate inventory of network hardware, software, and services.
* Utilize network management tools to monitor and optimize network performance.
* Implement and upgrade network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Assist other network administrators through escalations and collaborate on problem resolution.
* Participate actively in project teams and network improvement initiatives.
* Suggest and evaluate new technologies and initiatives to enhance network reliability and security.
* Adhere to security policies and assist in maintaining data security standards
