The Marketing and Graphic Artist is responsible for creating visually compelling designs and producing multimedia content to support the AGSB CCE’s marketing, branding, and communication objectives. The position requires both creativity and technical expertise in design, layout, and multimedia production.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
I. Content and Multimedia Production
Designs and develops marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers, social media content, infographics, and presentation materials) for use across web, social media, print, and other online platforms
Translates creative briefs into high-quality, on-brand design outputs aligned with requirements
Develops and adapts design templates and layouts to suit different platform requirements (print and online)
Formats, reviews, and prepares creative assets for print and digital production
Maintains and manages a library of visual design templates and multimedia assets
Updates existing marketing materials across print and online media in a timely manner, including course-related information (e.g., schedules, fees, locations), as well as AGSB CCE website graphics
II. Brand and Marketing Support
Collaborates with the AGSB CCE Marketing Group and the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to ensure visual alignment with campaign objectives
Assists in the conceptualization of creative strategies for content marketing and social media engagement by providing input and recommendations
Keeps abreast emerging design, video, and content trends to keep the brand’s creative output fresh and relevant
III. Administrative Support
Prepares and submits weekly reports on the status of creative projects to the Head for review
Provides creative, production, and logistical support for visual communications, publications, marketing collaterals and event design
IV. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor, or any authorized representative
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Visual Design and Communication Expertise: Demonstrates advanced skills in art direction, illustration, and graphic design. Proficient in creating compelling visual content for print, web, and motion graphics that align with Ateneo’s brand identity
Social Media Content Standards and Optimization: Demonstrates knowledge of social media content formats, platform-specific requirements, and best practices for optimizing content quality across digital channels
Multimedia Production and Storytelling: Skilled in photo, video, and multimedia production, including storytelling through dynamic visuals, animations, and short videos
Design Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and other graphic design tools, ensuring high-quality outputs across platforms
Knowledge on Brand Compliance and Application: Ability to understand, implement, and monitor brand identity standards. Skilled in identifying brand misalignments and providing solutions to enhance compliance.
Visual Aesthetics and Typography Skills: Possesses a strong sense of visual design, particularly in typography, with sensitivity to relevant cultural contexts in communication
Creative and Strategic Thinking: Applies innovative approaches to designing engaging materials while ensuring alignment with institutional goals and audience needs
Teamwork and Collaboration: Self-directed with the ability to work effectively in collaborative settings, contributing to team success while managing individual tasks efficiently
Technological Proficiency: Proficient in standard computer operating systems, cloud collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), and cloud storage platforms
Project and Time Management: Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills
Education And Experience Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in graphic design and/or video production
Proven experience with portfolio samples showcasing both static and motion content
Experience working with marketing teams, creative agencies, or content production units is an advantage
