Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Market Data Administration Lead to oversee the management, governance, and optimization of market data across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, cost efficiency, vendor compliance, and strategic alignment with business needs. You will lead a team of market data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across trading, finance, technology, and procurement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing local Market Data Administration Team.
  • Overall responsibility to maintain the Market Data Inventory integrity.
  • Assist in the Market Data Inventory platform migration project.
  • Manage contract database processes for vendors associated with Market Data e.g DACS Map Collect.
  • Obtain appropriate cost approvals for user requests.
  • Process ticket requests to add, cancel, or re-assign services due to moves, departures or change in business requirements.
  • Process and manage tickets for movers/leavers/joiners.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely installation of products on user desktops.
  • Assist with global Weekly/monthly database uploads for Bloomberg and HR.
  • Assist Accounts Payable Team with ad hoc market Data invoice reconciliations, discrepancies and vendor queries.
  • Screen notices and alerts from vendors, exchanges and third parties as to reporting obligations/ and business impact.
  • Develop good relationships with all Market Data external vendors, internal departments and business partners.
  • Manage Data permissioning and prepare declaration reporting obligations for Refinitiv, Bloomberg, IDC, and direct bill exchanges.
  • Provide monthly Finance and Management reports and analysis to TP ICAP Business units.
  • Review non usage reports for market data services to highlight potential cost saving and promote discussions with business units.
  • Participate in department inventory projects and fulfil ad hoc business requests as well as assist with the ongoing challenge to deliver cost efficiencies.
  • Be first point of escalation within the team on any permissioning/invoicing or other vendor related queries.
  • Act as the lead point of contact to the Manila Hub for all procurement related matters.
  • Act as a procurement team lead for the Manila Procurement team responsible for workload management, staff coverage planning and general HR management duties in support of the Procurement Category Heads.

Experience/Competences

Essential

  • All-round knowledge of LSEG’s Workspace and Bloomberg’s Terminal & B-PIPE products.
  • Knowledge of market data inventory tools e.g. Calero’s MDM and TRG’s Optimize Spend.
  • Knowledge of entitlement systems e.g. Bloomberg’s EMRS and LSEG’s TREP and DACS.
  • Takes industry best-practice and market trends into account in decision-making.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring team members, fostering growth and enhancing team performance
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team orientated, but also able to work independently.

Desirable

  • Experience of platform migration projects.
  • Strong customer service focus, communicating with users and vendors on all levels.
  • Knowledge of market data tools e.g. TRG’s ACT / PEAR.
  • Experience of working within cross-regional teams.
