Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a macOS Platform Engineer (L4) to serve as a senior engineering resource responsible for the design, deployment, and long-term management of macOS endpoints and platform infrastructure within OneTrust’s engineering environment. This role requires deep expertise in macOS architecture, Omnissa Workspace ONE (MDM), security compliance standards, and enterprise-scale macOS platform operations.
Candidates must demonstrate advanced troubleshooting capability, strong understanding of macOS developer workflows, and the ability to support a high-performing engineering organization in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Troubleshoot and support macOS desktop applications, including CLI tools, IDEs, and developer utilities.
- Diagnose and resolve macOS‑specific issues (permissions, access controls, developer tooling, system behavior).
- Support and optimize developer workflows on macOS, including environment setup and configuration standards.
- Manage endpoint configurations, device assignments, and app group mappings within Omnissa Workspace ONE.
- Import, test, refine, and maintain macOS security and configuration profiles in Workspace ONE.
- Translate security and compliance requirements into functional MDM profiles, restrictions, and enforcement controls.
- Deploy and validate CIS macOS benchmark configurations across test, pilot, and production phases.
- Collect feedback from pilot groups and iterate on security configurations to meet benchmark expectations.
- Standardize and maintain “birthright” (default) macOS application sets for both end users and developers.
- Plan and execute application removal, migration, and cleanup activities during lifecycle transitions.
- Validate application deployments, updates, and removals to ensure consistent and expected behavior.
- Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) tokens across multiple organizations and maintain integration with Workspace ONE for automated enrollment.
- Develop clear, step‑by‑step technical documentation for macOS setup, developer tools, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Author and maintain reusable platform documentation, standards, and configuration guides.
- Support IT operations by executing project deliverables, closing milestones, and managing endpoint engineering workloads with accuracy and timeliness.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Deep expertise in macOS operating system internals, platform architecture, and enterprise macOS management.
- Strong proficiency with Omnissa Workspace ONE including profiles, policies, application workflows, and device lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing or maintaining CIS macOS Benchmarks and macOS security-hardening frameworks.
- Ability to support engineering‑focused macOS environments, including developer tools, compilers, SDKs, and automation utilities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS system behavior, permission models, network configurations, and application dependencies.
- Experience with macOS packaging, application validation, and lifecycle transitions.
- Working knowledge of Apple Business Manager, device enrollment workflows, and token lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear engineering documentation and reusable platform guides.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle concurrent engineering and operational workloads.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, IT operations, and security leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting macOS platforms in enterprise or engineering environments.
- Prior experience with Omnissa Workspace ONE (advanced proficiency strongly preferred).
- Understanding of macOS development tooling (Homebrew workflows, Xcode CLI tools, Python/Node/Ruby environments, etc.).
- Experience deploying or managing security-hardening frameworks across macOS at scale.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as bash, zsh, or Python for automation tasks.
- Experience supporting mixed-platform engineering environments (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Background in Zero Trust, endpoint security, and compliance standards.
