About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our clients team and lead the design, implementation, and scaling of secure and resilient cloud infrastructure across multiple production environments. In this role, you will drive automation, establish best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure as code, and ensure compliance and reliability across systems. You will also collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, deployment, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of production-grade Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi-account, modular environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Ensure security and compliance through IAM guardrails, auditing tools (GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail), and cost optimization strategies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows for improved efficiency.
• Design disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions for critical systems.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews for production issues.
• Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and scalability needs.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven hands-on experience managing production-grade infrastructure (not just lab or personal projects).
• Top 3 non-negotiable tools: AWS, Terraform, and Docker.
• Deep expertise in AWS (EKS, ECS, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail) and Terraform.
• Strong background in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation workflows.
• Solid understanding of networking, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to articulate technical solutions clearly.
  
  
  

Preferred:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional).
• Experience implementing GitOps methodologies and security automation.
• Familiarity with policy as code, zero-trust models, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Knowledge of cost optimization and disaster recovery best practices.
