WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
The Lead Content Owner is responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and maintenance of high-quality training content and educational resources. With typically 5+ years of experience in content management and instructional design, this role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure that learning materials are aligned with SimCorp’s products, business objectives, and client needs. The Lead Content Owner ensures the delivery of accurate, engaging, and effective content that supports the successful adoption of SimCorp’s products and services.
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead, develop, and manage high-quality training content across SimCorp products and business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, clear, engaging, and aligned with organizational and client needs.
- Maintain a consistent content strategy and oversee a scalable, well-organized content repository.
- Integrate content effectively into instructor-led and self-paced learning programs in partnership with the training team.
- Monitor content performance using feedback and data; optimize for engagement and learning outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior content owners and instructional designers to uphold quality standards.
- Keep all content updated with new product features, process changes, and industry trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in content development and content management practices.
What we value:
- Extensive financial or fintech background, with familiarity in the Financial Risk Management domain, including the following areas: Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Regulatory Risk, and ESG Risk, etc.
- Experience in instructional design and training content development, or willingness to learn is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial concepts and translate them into clear, structured, and engaging learning content.
- Dedication to quality through careful attention to details and a steady aim for precision.
- Proficient in English expression, with capabilities in both writing and speaking that allow for precise and professional information sharing.
- Proficient stakeholder collaboration skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally with product, training, and subject-matter experts.
- Effective at prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Finance or a related field.
- Experience with integrating financial IT systems or working with complex financial technology environments.
- Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
