Lab Assistant - Your future position?

As the Lab Assistant, you will support flavor development and application activities by preparing prototypes, assisting in experiments and sensory evaluations, managing lab materials and samples, and ensuring a safe, organized environment. In this role, you will report to the Technical Manager and will be based in Pasig, Manila.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in

• Support compounding activities for project evaluations and customer submissions.
• Assist in preparing Savory prototypes (and Sweet applications, as required) for internal reviews and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with Application Specialists to execute experiments and trials.
• Participate in sensory evaluations for designated projects.
• Manage inventory and monitor requests, arrivals, and usage of raw materials, flavor samples, and lab supplies.
• Prepare and dispense samples and related materials for local customers and Givaudan affiliates.
• Uphold EH&S standards by maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment.

Your professional profile includes

University / Bachelors Degree in food, biological or physical sciences.

3-5 years of experience in food or flavour regulatory affairs.

Good English, local language essential.

Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.

Advanced knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements.

Thorough understanding of components of appropriate business processes and internal systems.

Thorough knowledge of assigned customer specific requirements.

Proficient with regulatory systems.
