The Graphic Production Artist (GPA) has strong Photoshop expertise, web and/or HTML email production experience, and an eye for detail to implement content provided by the screen production team.

GPAs create new artwork and localise supplied artwork (hardware, screens, lifestyle, etc) in a Photoshop file based on the requirements for the locale, optimises the asset for visual clarity set by the client’s standards, exports the asset into various formats required by the deliverable and checks the assets into a repository. The GPA checks their work on various platforms to ensure quality, consistency and correctness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update product imagery and UI elements in Photoshop comps, and output web graphics
  • Structure Photoshop comps to optimise efficient production design and localisation workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer comps
  • Track and check on web graphics using a version control system
  • Work closely with producers, traffic, development, publishing, and international teams to meet project goals and ensure efficient file handoffs for localisation
  • Review final webpages and HTML email with an exacting eye, ensuring that graphics and layouts are flawless
  • Support training of newer team members

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 2 years equivalent experience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)
  • Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standards
  • Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email
  • Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
  • Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
  • Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with designers and web developers
  • Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checking process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to be client facing
  • Proficiency in OS & iOS software
  • Good awareness of current and emerging technologies
  • Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Amenable to work hybrid and onsite in BGC
