Launched in 2013, WebBeds is a global marketplace for the travel trade, providing powerful distribution solutions that make selling and buying travel products easier. It sources accommodation and destination services from travel suppliers, aggregates and merchandises that content in the WebBeds platform, then distributes it to its global network of travel trade buyers, who sell to the travelling public.

Travel buyers - online travel agencies, retail travel agents, corporate travel managers, tour operators, wholesalers, tourism boards, super apps, DMC’s, group providers, airlines and more - can integrate the hundreds of thousands of hotels and ground services in the WebBeds marketplace through simple and seamless API connectivity, or they can search, shop and book online through one of WebBeds trade only booking sites.

WebBeds operates globally through four geographic regions – Europe, Asia Pacific, MEA (Middle East and Africa) and Americas - with over 1,900 travel professionals working in 120 cities across 50 countries worldwide. WebBeds also operates specialist brand UHI. UHI is a genuine pioneer, providing online pilgrimage travel services to travel agencies worldwide.

In This Role You Will

The purpose of this role is to provide insights on business performance by creating, updating and analyzing commercial and financial information.

Key elements to this role include, but not limited to:

• Support the business with internal reporting on trading performance, account reconciliation, operating expenses or any other ad hoc data requests.
• Sanity checks and review of data extractions from our internal tools
• Support during planning process (Budget and Forecasting) by providing insights into trading variances, as well as producing tables and graphs to illustrate these trends and changes.
• Month end analysis to provide insights into notable trading changes or to explain deviations to past trends.
  
  

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase:

• Financial background
• Advanced Excel
• Able to communicate effectively & professionally both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English
• Knowledge using data warehouse, databases and business intelligence tools
• Communicates effectively at all levels
• Highly organized and able to manage own time effectively to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail. Produces high quality work – consistently, accurately and on time
• Previous user experience on ERP or Datawarehouse systems (i.e. SAP, Power BI, BusinessObjects, Outlook Soft) is a plus.
• Good analytical skills
