Junior Media Claims Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Remote | Reports to Lead Manager, Philippines

We’re looking for our next Junior Media Claims Manager to join Collab’s Digital Rights Management team. This is a contract-to-hire role: after six months of strong performance, you’ll be eligible to convert to a full-time, benefits-eligible position.

Important Note: This is not a content creation, social media management, or legal role.

What You’ll Do:

Extensive training will be provided.

• Develop extensive knowledge of navigating the YouTube CMS and use that knowledge to make manual claims using our specific protocol
• Grow into a subject matter expert in the YouTube space, including all of our licensed content and our entire talent/creator roster
• Watch and review lots of video content for our assets with both speed and accuracy
• Identify trends and success strategies across as many short-form video categories as possible to increase claims numbers, watch time, and views
• Organize critical data in Excel or Google Suite
• Work across departments to identify potential DRM partners and manually track partner potential via internal audits that help determine client revenue potential
• Organize data in our proprietary software, including inputting creators asset labels
• Become a liaison between Collab and our licensed partners
• Other duties, as needed
  
  

Who You Are:

This is an entry-level role suitable for those across many different professional backgrounds. We’ve found the following to be most important when joining our Digital Rights Management team:

• Highly motivated and organized
• 1–3 years of professional experience is preferred, but not necessary as we provide extensive training
• Highly analytical and comfortable memorizing video content and creators this role requires an excellent visual memory
• Passionate about YouTube and a daily consumer of YouTube content, either professionally or personally
• Strong understanding of digital platforms: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snap, Facebook, etc.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks
  
  

Bonus Points:

Not required, but nice to have:

• Experience working at an MCN or similar business that supports short-form video creators
• Basic knowledge of digital rights management

Approximate Starting Monthly Salary: ₱30,000 - ₱35,000.00 depending on experience + Performance Incentives
