Your Role

As an IT Security Support Analyst, you will:

• Respond to and resolve tickets logged in Jira within defined SLAs.
• Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts from endpoint protection, SIEM, and email security tools.
• Assist in incident response activities including investigation, evidence gathering, and containment actions.
• Support enforcement of security policies, standards, and compliance practices.
• Conduct Level 1 security checks (MFA issues, access reviews, account anomalies, device compliance).
• Assist with vulnerability management, including scanning, tracking, and remediation validation.
• Maintain and monitor security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and related cloud services.
• Coordinate patching, privileged access reviews, and security-related maintenance tasks.
• Provide IT helpdesk and remote support using RDP, TeamViewer, VNC, or similar tools.
• Support Retail POS systems and associated peripherals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, processes, and technical configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure system stability.
• Participate in business-driven IT projects and initiatives.
• Work onsite and render after-hours support when required to minimize business disruption.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Degree or certificate in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Security Support Analyst and/or IT Helpdesk role.
• Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals and common threats.
• Experience with endpoint protection/antivirus/EDR tools and basic malware response.
• Knowledge of email security and phishing identification.
• Understanding of IAM, MFA, least-privilege principles, and access provisioning.
• Ability to review, triage, and escalate security alerts appropriately.
• Basic knowledge of firewall concepts and secure remote access (VPN/RDP).
• Experience with Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Jira or other service desk/ticketing systems.
• Experience using remote support tools (RDP, TeamViewer, VNC, SplashTop).
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking, routers, and switches.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and multitasking skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City on a shifting schedule.

• Experience supporting retail POS environments.
• Exposure to Microsoft Navision/Dynamics.
• Experience with virtual computing environments.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and patch compliance processes.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, or related credentials.
