Role description:

Arcadis are excited to again be growing their Architecture team. We are looking for enthusiastic architecture interns to join our team to work on a range of projects.

This role will sit within our global business area, Places. In Places, we work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of people’s lives. Whether new homes, shops, workplaces, schools and hospitals, manufacturing, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centers. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.

Role accountabilities:

• Support project teams by assisting with assigned tasks and deliverables under the guidance of experienced architects and designers.
• Help gather reference materials, drawings, and project information to support project activities.
• Assist with basic design tasks and analysis to contribute to the development of architectural solutions.
• Support the preparation of drawings, presentations, and project documentation in line with company standards and project requirements.
• Learn and apply relevant design standards, codes, and internal procedures with guidance from the team.
• Assist in quality checks of drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop architectural and technical skills through training, on-the-job learning, and regular feedback.
• Gain exposure to Arcadis services, project workflows, and the built environment industry.
• Support coordination and communication within the project team and with other disciplines as required.
• Build professional skills through collaboration, clear communication, and a positive, learning-focused attitude.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Academic training in architectural design and planning, with awareness of related disciplines.
• Membership or student membership in a relevant professional body is an advantage.
• While a recognized qualification in design or construction is preferred, relevant academic projects experience within a similar discipline will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Professional approach to deadlines, tasks, and responsibilities.
