I. Your Role Purpose & Mandate: Building Solutions, Not Deliverables

You will be the core technical contributor responsible for translating business outcomes into robust, scalable, and high-quality software within your assigned Squad. We challenge the "Project Mindset" - you are measured by the long-term viability and stability of the system you build, not a checklist of features. Your primary accountability is ensuring the technical solution is simple, maintainable, and directly achieves the Squads assigned Business Outcome KPI.

II. Core Accountabilities: Quality and Stability First!

This role is all about measurable, high-quality impact. You succeed by:

Quality and Solution Stability: Maintaining a super low incident rate, specifically achieving <= 0.2 Bugs per Story Points Delivered (your target is stability!).

Outcome Alignment: Ensuring your deployed feature is demonstrably the most efficient technical solution for moving the Squads assigned Business Outcome KPI.

III. Key Responsibilities: The "How" You Make It Happen

• A. Engineering Rigor & Quality Ownership: You are the guardian of quality! Write, review, and maintain high-performance, well-tested, secure code based on simplicity. You will personally own the success of all features, enforcing the Quality Gate, and proactively resolving technical debt to ensure maximum System Uptime.
• B. Outcome-Driven Solution Design: You dont code until you understand the why. Youll partner closely with the Revenue Engineer to understand the root business problem, design the simplest scalable solution with the Senior Technical Leader, and ensure API/data integrity across the platform.
• C. Squad Integration & Collaboration: Be a strong technical voice in team planning and stand-ups! You’ll maximize Time to Value (TTV), be flexible to move between different Squads based on evolving business priorities, and mentor junior engineers on best practices and high-quality code.
  
  

IV. Required Qualifications: The Technical Firepower

• Experience: You need 5+ years of progressive software development experience with a proven, awesome track record of shipping and maintaining complex, highly available production systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert level mastery in our core stack: C#, Azure, SQL, Rest API, and Selenium.
• Mindset: A deep, genuine commitment to the Product Mindset, always prioritizing long-term system health over short-term speed. You are driven by measurable outcomes, not just activity!
• Accountability: Demonstrated ability to own production code end-to-end, from writing to debugging, root cause analysis, and preventative measure implementation.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills - you can articulate complex technical trade-offs so even non-technical partners (like PMs and Business Partners) completely understand!
