Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, located within Fort Bonifacio, the former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys, comprising 576 hotel guestrooms, 97 hotel residences and 96 exclusive Horizon Homes, the building is destined to become a Manila landmark. The new hotel will complement the company’s five existing properties in the Philippines.

The mixed-use business, residential and retail tower will be located along Fifth Avenue and 30th, within the new, fast-developing Taguig business district. A 30-minute drive from the international airport, the hotel will also be close to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club, and 10 minutes from Makati district, the capital’s financial, cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.

DUTIES

Under the general guidance and supervision of the IT Manager and within the limits of established policies and procedures, he/she is responsible for the maintenance of the computer system to enable the continuous and reliable hotel operations; is responsible for the implementation of new Program and Technologies that the Hotel will benefit from; is responsible for smooth IT Department operation.

Requirements

• Preferably with at least 2 years solid IT experience
• Preferably with experience in managing integrated LAN, implementing integrated system using the latest Microsoft server 2008/2010
• Preferably with hands-on technical support experience in Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and 10, MS Office 2013 and Outlook, MAC OS, Anti-virus ans mobile devices
• Preferably with experience in System Programming like such as SQL and/or Oracle
• Preferably with experience in WAN/LAN, router switch, network cabling; CCNA holder an advantage
• Preferably experienced in maintaining or administration of hotel application
• Preferably with knowledge of network security policy and active directory control and management
• Preferably fluent in oral and written English
• A self-starter, must be customer-oriented, creative and with an eye for details
• Self-motivated, mature and can work independently
• Flexible
