Description

Infor is recruiting Information Developers to develop high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our applications and solutions. The resources will join a team of talented information developers who work collaboratively with Product Managers, Software Developers, Business Analysts, QA Analysts, Customer Support Organizations, Professional Service Organizations, and usability experts to develop and maintain help content for new development and for established Infor applications. The Information Developers must have experience writing and editing content for a variety of software applications.

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the module and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards, is appropriate for its intended audience, and is in sync with the development effort
• Write accurate, concise, and easy-to-understand user interface documentation, configuration guides, contextual help, and controlled release documentation
• Evaluate the scope of a writing project and be responsible for managing own priorities, schedules, and deadlines
• Enforce and follow established style guides to ensure high editorial standards
• Quick and accurate, should be able to multi-task.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing or information development.
• Experience with structured authoring tools such as DITA/XML, MadCap Flare, or similar.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CCMS platforms (e.g., Ixiasoft, SDL Tridion Docs).
• Experience with enterprise software solutions (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.).
• Experience of UX writing and in-product guidance tools.
• Experience of localization and content translation workflows.
• Experience of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Experience with Generative AI tooling
