How You Will Contribute
You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

More about this role
This role will provide operational support to our Immigration Advisors and will make sure that immigration compliance requirements are put in place for the specific dedicated markets. Sitting within the Global Mobility team, this role will focus on Immigration compliance and data management, by tracking the work permit validity and proper data storage of our foreign employees during their work cycle. The specialist will work with internal stakeholders and, when required, with third-party service partners, to comply with their tasks.
What you need to know about this position:
- Own the immigration compliance for foreign employees by supporting Immigration Advisors and other internal stakeholders in tracking the validity of work permits and upcoming expiring dates of international and local movers;
- Prompt our internal stakeholders about any gaps in our system to make sure that proper data and document storage is updated in our internal system during the work cycle of employees;
- Provide operational support to Immigration Advisors during casework tasks in the required work areas of the MEU region;
- Monitoring the Immigration mailbox and Service Now queue;
- Issue monthly dashboards for the Immigration control deck, with key highlights to the Immigration Advisors and Regional Lead;
- Continuous improvement approach - recommend process changes / new ways of working to simplify and streamline processes, keeping in mind the employee’s experience;
- Work with external partners and Immigration advisors to ensure correctness of Immigration invoices;
- Participate in Global Mobility and Immigration projects, as required.
