Job Description

The role is primarily responsible for the independent monitoring of the activities of IT administrators across all platforms in production and DR environments. This includes the monitoring of the use of ids by the IT Team and third-party personnel to ensure that control measures are strictly implemented to avoid breaches or abusive system access or usage by unauthorized personnel. This position entails mentoring and guidance of staff in the performance of their duties to ensure that special ids are not used to the detriment of the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the use of special/privilege ids and detect possible security breaches using these ids.
  • Reports security breaches/unauthorized use of special/privilege IDs.
  • Reviews on a regular basis the scope and completeness of areas being monitored and effectiveness of the monitoring process.
  • Provides appropriate education to process owners/access administrators
  • Performs administrative functions of a line manager
  • Looks for opportunities for automation and innovation to improve process efficiency
  • Improves performance of the team by identifying areas for improvement and provide the necessary training and mentoring as needed
  • Works with system owners to ensure that new devices/servers, whether on-premise or in the cloud have proper logs are generated for IAM review
  • Ensures timely submission of management reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree of a college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related courses
  • Must have at least 5 years of related technical experience
  • Must have at 2 years in a technical leadership role
  • Must have People Management skills
  • Must have knowledge of ITIL, AD, server, mainframe, database, O365, network, security device logs
  • Must have knowledge of Cloud computing – AWS, Azure, Google
  • Must have knowledge in Identity and Access Management products
  • Must have knowledge in Identity Lifecycle & Accounts ownership
  • Must have good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures, and standards
