About The Role

Black & White Engineering is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy, with nearly -750 employees in teams based in our UK, European, Middle East and Asia Pacific offices. We have been providing a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering consultancy services since 2007.

Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.

We are looking for a Sustainability Engineer to join our Manila office (either Graduate or Engineer level). The role will support the UK team in feasibility studies and energy reports. The ideal candidate should have a background and experience of UK projects.

What you will be doing

• Undertake thermal modelling
• Support the BREEAM Assessor on projects.
• Compile and issue Feasibility Studies and Energy Reports
• Assist with compiling marketing material relating to sustainability
• Marketing and Technical research in the areas of renewable energy and other sustainability matters
• Prepare and present technical briefings to clients and staff
• Pursue CPD programme including attending training courses and seminars. This should include improving knowledge of M&E engineering principles and applications
  
  

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical /electrical /civil engineering
• Open to fresh graduate or experienced engineer
• Data centre knowledge
• UK project background and experience
• BREEAM experience
• Thermal modelling experience (IESVE preferable)
• Knowledge of MS Office excel etc
• Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software
• Ability to prioritise own workload
• Ability to work to deadlines
