Position Overview
The Global Insurance and Governance Coordinator supports the effective administration of DT Global’s global insurance and governance frameworks.
The position serves as the business’s central day-to-day contact for insurance administration and coordinates policy renewals, certificates of insurance, insurance data collection, broker engagement, notifications of circumstances, training and insurance information management.
The role also provides coordination and administrative support across policy governance, enterprise risk management, business continuity and governance reporting. It maintains reliable registers and records, coordinates recurring review and reporting processes, monitors agreed actions and helps embed consistent governance practices across DT Global.
The position works closely with the COO, Senior Legal Counsel and stakeholders across DT Global’s regions, functions and business units. It is a coordination and administration role and does not hold responsibility for providing legal advice, accepting risk or making executive governance decisions.

About You
Experience and qualifications
Essential
- Relevant experience in insurance administration, governance coordination, risk management, legal operations, compliance, business continuity or a related field.
- Practical experience supporting insurance programs in a global or multinational organisation, insurance brokerage, insurer, risk function or comparable environment.
- Knowledge of the global insurance market and experience with a range of insurance products, including:
- Professional indemnity
- Public liability
- Property insurance
- Business travel insurance
- Expatriate insurance
- Employers’ liability
- Cyber insurance
- Experience maintaining registers, coordinating recurring review cycles and monitoring actions and deadlines.
- Experience coordinating insurance renewals and collecting information from multiple business units or jurisdictions.
- Experience liaising with insurance brokers and responding to business enquiries.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following areas:
- Policy governance
- Enterprise risk management
- Business continuity
- Governance or management reporting
- Strong information and data-management skills, including the ability to review information for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain insurance, risk and governance concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Sound judgement and the ability to recognise matters requiring escalation.
- High levels of accuracy, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, seniority levels and time zones.
Desirable
- A qualification in insurance, risk management, governance, business administration, law, finance or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation in insurance, risk management, governance or business continuity.
- Experience developing or improving business-wide processes, registers, reporting frameworks and controls.
- Experience preparing dashboards and reports for executive leadership or governance committees.
- Experience designing or delivering business training.
- Experience working in international development, professional services, consulting or a project-based organisation.
