General Accountant

The General Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions related to furniture fit-out projects, including project-based costing, accounts payable and receivable, supplier and contractor payments, and inventory/material cost tracking. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reconciling bank and supplier accounts, monitoring project budgets versus actual costs, assisting with month-end and year-end closing (AFS), preparing financial reports for management, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, interior fit-out, contracting, or manufacturing
• Experience with project-based or job-costing accounting is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
• Strong Excel skills for budget tracking and reporting
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance, payroll, and filing for BIR requirements
• Strong attention to detail, especially with multiple concurrent project accounts
• Good communication and coordination skills with project/procurement teams
• Ability to manage deadlines for invoicing, payments, and reporting
