Role description:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist is a crucial member of the FP&A team, working collaboratively in a dynamic environment to meet evolving business requirements. Reporting directly to the Country FP&A Business Partner, this team strives to deliver high-quality reporting and valuable insights on our clients to Country Finance, and Group Control. With ambitious growth plans, the company aims to strengthen the FP&A partnership as a key driver towards these objectives. This dynamic environment presents opportunities for the finance department to balance day-to-day operations with continuous process improvement and integration of new entities. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist, you will join a dedicated team of finance professionals, supporting senior management in successfully propelling Arcadis into the next phase of growth.

Role accountabilities:

The following key accountabilities fall into his/ her field of responsibility:

  • Drives management reporting initiatives and ensure the business has the analytical insights it needs to monitor performance, forecast results and drive growth.
  • Leads and provides sufficient reporting tools to support country Finance teams and wider business in providing value adding insight, analysis of results, and planning and forecasting analysis.
  • Drives the development, review and compilation of Plan/ Forecast Reports for Group and Regional reporting.
  • Supports with validation and consistency of financial information across reporting platforms (OneStream, Oracle, and Power BI)
  • Supports the appropriate implementation and application of group processes.
  • Supports finance function by ensuring alignment with GSSC and local accounting teams, providing relevant information to accounting teams and manage closing processes jointly.
  • Supports in key activities required for the Arcadis Way and integration program.
  • Coordinates with other regions FP&A team and implement the best practices.
  • Leads the FP&A automation processes and identify areas to increase efficiency.
  • Supervises the GSSC FP&A Team.
  • Supports both FP&A & Country Finance Teams with ad-hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

The candidate should have of a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Financial Planning & Analyst or similar role in a complex corporate environment or a consultancy firm, ideally in an international and listed company.

Other required experience and competencies for this role:

  • Strong data skills and reporting (BI/Excel) capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and consistent high standards.
  • Self-start with excellent time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, innovative and result-driven attitude.
  • IT literate with ERP experience o Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables and power query o MS Power BI experience o Oracle EBS and Cloud
  • Familiar with Finance Terminology and able to understand P&L, Financial Position (BS) and Cash Flow Statements
  • Native language: Fluent in English
